CTET Admit Card 2020

CTET 2020 Admit Card (July): CTET Admit Card 2020 for July session will be releasing soon. Candidates can download the CTET 2020 admit card by visiting the official website i.e ctet.nic.in by logging with valid Registration No. and Password provided during the time of registration. The exam was scheduled on 5th July 2020.But due to increase in coronavirus cases,the exam got postponed. The New Dates will be announced soon. CTET is a national level exam conducted every year to test the eligibility of candidates to be appointed as teachers in any school across India. It is conducted twice a year in July or December.

CTET 2020 July Exam was conducted on 5 July 2020..But due to increase in coronavirus cases,the exam got postponed. The New Dates will be announced soon.

CTET consists of two Papers

Paper 1: CTET paper 1 is for class 1 to 5 Teachers.

Paper 2: CTET Paper 2 is for class 6 to 8 Teachers.

Candidates who want to teach from class 1 to 8 have to apply for both papers.

CTET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility to apply for both papers may vary.

CTET Eligibility for paper 1 :

  • 12th or Graduation with 50% marks
  • He/She must have passed or appeared in 2 –year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Or

  • Candidates having 4-year B.El.Ed (Bachelors of Elementary Education)

CTET Eligibility for paper 2 :

  • Graduation Degree with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of 2-year D.El.Ed.(Diploma in Elementary Education) can apply.
  • Candidates appearing or passed in B.Ed(Bachelors of Education)

Paper 1 is taken for Class 1 to 5, while paper 2 is for becoming a teacher of class 6 to 8.

CTET Eligibility for reserved Category :

No reserved seats for candidates belonging to the reserved category. However, a relaxation of  5%  marks is given to them in the qualifying exam.

There is no restriction regarding the number of attempts in the CTET exam.

Age Limit : Minimum -17 years, Maximum – no age restrictions

CTET 2020 Exam Pattern

CTET exam consists of two Papers-

Paper 1 (Primary Stage) – For those candidates who want to become a teacher of class 1 to 5.

Paper 2(Elementary Stage)  – For those candidates who want to teach from class 6 to 8.

Both paper 1and paper 2 is offline(pen-paper based) paper, with a maximum duration of 150 minutes.

Paper 1

There are 5 sections in Paper 1

  1. Child Development and Pedagogy
  2. Language 1
  3. Language 2
  4. Mathematics
  5. Environmental Studies

There are 150 questions in the exam, for each correct answer 1 marks will be given to candidates.

Paper 2

There are 4 sections in Paper 2:

  1. Child Development and Pedagogy
  2. Language 1
  3. Language 2
  4. Mathematics and science, social Studies

There are 150 questions in the exam, for each correct answer 1 marks will be given to candidates. Candidates can take an exam in English or Hindi Languages.

2: Click CTET 2020 Registration.

3: Enter details to get your CTET 2020 Registration number.

4: Apply now by filling your personal details.

5: Scan your signature and photo and upload it.

6: Pay the exam fee.

7: Submit Page.

CTET 2020 Admit card (July) : Download

CTET 2020 Admit Cards will be available in June, on its official website. Candidates are advised to carefully check all details on the admit card and print it for future use.

How to Download CTET 2020 Admit card?

Here are the steps to download CTET 2020 admit card.

1: Visit Official Website @ ctet.nic.in

2: Click on “Admit Card”.

3: Enter Registration number and Password.

4: Click on the Submit button.

5: Download and Print CTET 2020 admit card

Candidates have to bring admit card and a photo ID proof with them in the exam hall.ID Proof may be one of the following:

  • Aadhar Card
  • PAN Card
  • Driving License
  • Passport
  • Voter Card

CTET 2020 (July) Exam Centers

CTET 2020 exam centers are across all over India. You have to choose your nearest one.

Candidates have to fill 4 preferences for exam centers during the online application filling process. Exam Center once allotted may not be changed.
