The government is thinking to promote University students without exams. However, no official notification has released yet regarding this. However, some universities like Allahabad University, Gujarat University had recently said that they will not promote university students without taking final exams.

The Govt. is thinking of various methods to promote University students without University students exams 2020. Check the factors on which govt. are deciding to promote University students without exams.

On the basis of the performance of the student in the previous semester and assessments.

Based on Carry forward policy

In this policy, if the student is not able to pass all the exams of the semester, the student promoted in the next semester. The student has to pass all the exams. However, this policy is applicable for all students except students of Final Exam.

After the lockdown Educational Plan

All Colleges must be granted a 2-week window to plan normal academic lectures and allow students 3-4 weeks time to resume lectures. But exams must be planned only after complete normalcy.

In the case of Oral Examination, the college thinking to conduct by Video Conferencing technique.

However, the final decision to promote University students without exams 2020 is unlikely to be finalized before the RC kuhad committee, constituted by the Human Resource Development ministry recommends measures to salvage the academic schedule.

The proposal to promote University student’s exams 2020 is on the fact that the number of students in the 1st year is higher than the 2nd year and likewise the number of students in the 2nd year is higher than the  3rd year. Considering this fact, the official highlighted the concern over the hardship of conducting exanot minations.

However, some universities like Allahabad University, Gujarat University had recently said that they will not promote university students without taking final exams. Lets see what happen after 3, May.
