Selection Procedure: LIC AAO AE Exam Pattern
Selection of LIC Assistant Administrator Officer and Assistant Engineer will be done through a 3 tiered Process and Subsequent Pre-recruitment Medical Examination.
Phase 1: Preliminary Examination
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Type Multiple Type Questions will be Conducted Online.
The test will be 3 Sections (Separate Timings for each section) as Follows:

Phase 2nd: Main Examination
- Main Examination consists of Objective Tests of 300(Three Hundred) marks and Descriptive Test for 25 (Twenty-Five) Marks.
- Both the Objective and Descriptive Test will be Online.
- The Objective Test will have separate timing for every Three sections.
- Candidates will have to attend a descriptive test by typing on the computer under the instruction of Administration.
- Descriptive Test will be Administered after the completion of the Objective test.
- Candidate Must pass in each Section separately and should obtain minimum marks in the Aggregate to Qualify for the Online Examinations (Preliminary and Main) and Interview.
- Marks Obtained in the Main Examination will be Considered for Shortlisting the Candidates for Interview and Obtained Marks in Main Examination Plus Obtained Marks in Interview will be considered for final merit Listing/Final Selection of Applicant.
- There will be a Negative Marking for Wrong answers in mains Exam and 0.25 (1/4) marks will deduct for each wrong answer.
